Hanare Tsubaki is a completely private house in a modern Japanese style. The bedroom and private dining room are laid out so that each can also be used as a separate room as the occasion requires. A six-tatami study looks out onto the courtyard, making a comfortable place to sit. The outdoor bath area leading off the bedroom has, besides the private open-air bath, a private cabin sauna and a cold plunge bath.
Private sauna
A private sauna built with great care, where you can pour aroma water over the stones for your own löyly. The cold plunge bath uses skin-friendly natural water drawn from an Edo-period deep well on the grounds. For cooling off, the courtyard terrace gives you an open-air space to enjoy as freely as you like.
Meals
Both dinner and breakfast are served in your own private dining room overlooking the inner garden. At dinner a dedicated member of staff grills the finest seafood of Boso over the hearth before your eyes. Enjoy freshly cooked food that delights the eye as much as the palate, with appetising aromas that keep the conversation flowing.
